Their size, not bigger than a pinball ball. Zac flicked his hands against Rumee, sending the Goo Balls flying against her. They were hardened. They would not harm her in any form of imagination... but, they would hurt like hell. Realizing he's at a disadvantage in this open area, he made a run for the palm trees.

As the goo balls sped towards Rumee, she simply grabbed her steel fan and unfolded it, holding it up to her body in a taunting fashion as she did so. The balls of goo make contact with the fan and loud clanks can be heard as a result. Rumee was mildly impressed by Zac's reaction time. However his mistake was thinking he would be able to escape. Using the spear she had formed as a catalyst, she sends a large, yet rather fast spike of her hardened blood towards the feeling Zac. Not underestimating a member of her crew, she would follow through and follow his retreat towards the palm trees. Only after grabbing a decent sized handful of the bloodied sand she had prepared earlier. She molded it into a ball as she ran. Bored of her spear, she throws it towards Zac as well, or rather, the ground next to him. Upon hitting the sand it would dissipate into a liquid. As she did this, she would keep an eye on how Zac would react.

While in his stance Lau would be studying his opponent seeing that he wielded two pistols and had one aimed at his upper body and the other aimed towards his feet. With this he knows that he would be in quite the dilemma early on in the match if he were to attempt to hold back. So as the bullets are fired he exhales and maintains his stance this lead to him seeing a premonition of the bullets that were being fired. This premonition shows the trajectory of each group of bullets fired and the spacing between each with this information retained Lau takes two faint steps that in turn become a mild dash with the light push of with his foot. Utilizing his capable speed and the help from his premonition he avoids the bullets via slight movements and strikes from his fortified hands and feet via the use of his devil power. Once through this Lau's paces increase as he closed in to Highwind. If he were to successfully close the distance between himself and his superior he executes a firm stomp towards the right foot of Laavan which would hopefully distract and damage him. The stomp wouldn't be the main attack from Lau just the cover up if he was distracted by the stomp he executes a firm straight punch towards his stomach following with a switch retraction of the fist and a palm right with his right hand towards the same area, but despite his low strength his strikes would be stern and full of impact.

This would be due to him using his devil fruit powers to create a dense barrier around is entire body like a mobile suit of armor. This would be the Stern Void Style of Kung-Fu in fruition. Which would be a blend of all his abilities using in one art of fighting. After his attacks Lau slides himself back while still maintaining his stance. His focus would be seen on his face as he did not let his eyes move off Mr. Highwind even once.
    Turn 2
When Lau started running towards Lavaan, Lavaan did the same. The cook used his barrier DF to block the bullets that would hit him while managing to dodge the rest. When Lau wasn't too far away from Lavaan he simply stopped firing and when they were close enough to start exchanging blows Lavaan instead suddenly fell to his back and went sliding along the ground. Presuming everything went to plan, Lavaan's slide attack would cause Lau to fall over at the same time Lavaan had already put away one of his pistols and pulled out a shotgun. As he passed underneath the falling Lau he would shoot once at the cook's stomach, point blank range.

If he didn't have the devil fruit to dispatch the majority of his opponents bullets he would have sustained quite some damage. As Lau is closing the distance Laavan would also be also be doing so. Due to the greater speed that his opponent had he reached Lau before he was able to stop and execute his attack which caused him to be cause by surprise by Laavan's sliding kick. Which causes him to fall over, but Lau would adapt to this situation as he fell over he aims a executes a palm thrust towards the lying down Laavan as if he wasn't phased by have a shotgun pointed directly to his face. As he executes the palm strike he says with a firm tone

    Barrier Crash

The palm strike was a conduit for the release of a transparent barrier that covered from Lau head to his waist and it was aimed to damage Laavan at close range aiming to fracture the majority of the bones that composed Lavaan's upper body, but that came with a price as Lau was hit with a few bullets from the shotgun's burst. It was worth just to get one devastating blow on his superior. Following this he fell on the ground to struggle to get back up due to his midsection getting punctured by several bullets. Once getting up he gets into a different stance as he steps his right leg forward having his right shoulder face towards Mr. Highwind. His arms would be open and extended having the right extended downwards with the palm facing upwards and the left or back arm extended upwards with the palm facing upwards. His stance would also be lower as he prepared to see what his opponent was attempting to so as he hides under a focused face the clenching of his teeth to deal with the pain he is going through and the blood he would be losing.

As Lavaan saw the palm strike coming in he quickly coated the area it would hit with haki, making it a shiney black, though that wouldn't be possible to tell as his clothes stopped such a thing from being seen. This stopped his bones from being shattered but Lavaan had certainly felt the pressure put on from the barrier and the impact of it. All it had meant however was an exchange of blows, Lavaan had hit Lau with quite a few pellets from the shotgun. Lavaan got to his feet, it seems he had been going too easy on his nakama and decided to up the level. Pulling out a Nodachi from within his jacket Lavaan held the sword at his side and stood there, one hand on the hilt and the other on the scabbard. Lavaan used his technique Mortal Draw, this would be over within a couple of seconds as Lavaan would quickly rush in with one powerful slice on his opponent and continue past stopping a few meters away as the nodachi was sheathed. Upon the kairoseki blade being fully sheathed the damage would be inflicted upon his opponent.

Zac ran as fast as he could and often took a glimpse behind his back for any ranged attacks his Captain might use. By doing so, he spotted the spike. However, he knew he wasn't fast enough to react to it. Able to roughly pinpoint its direction, he tried to shift his body in order to receive the least damage possible. He succeeded, as the spike slightly gaped his shoulder. Zac covered the wound with a layer of Goo, avoiding any further loss of blood. "That hurt, Cap'n!!" Having nothing to counter-attack at the moment, Zac decided to use his captain's own spike. He shot a Goo whip out of his hand and snatched the blood spike, swinging it back and sending it towards Rumee. Then, he shot the same whip towards a distant palm tree and retracted it, propelling himself closer to it. Seeing coconuts on their top, Zac thought of a genius plan. He formed another Goo whip and shot both towards the the tree's top. Hardening his Goo to reach the point of thick rubber, he pulled the tree back, waiting for his Captain to come in range and shower her with a barrage of coconuts!

Rumee had witness Zac do what he did best. Launch himself around like a catapult. She didn't know what he was planning but he had flung her spike back towards her. He had to have already been out of ideas. A straightforward attack like that wasn't going to do anything. She positioned herself out of the path of the spike. That was easy enough. However Zac wasn't paying attention to her anymore, he was to busy launching towards another palm tree. He sure did seem intent on the trees. He had to have some sort of plan that involved them. She decided that the best course of action now was to charge in with a reckless abandon. She wouldn't be charging in empty handed however. She hardened the blood in the bloodied sand ball she was holding and tossed it towards his face. The hardened blood would cause the ball to hurt upon impact and some of the loose sand in it would scatter as well. Likely blinding him in the process. As this happened she would launch a kick towards Zac, extended the range and effectiveness with a pillar of blood that would shoot towards him. Despite the position she was in, she wouldn't let her guard down for a moment.

"Here... we... go..." Rumee stepped into the range of his deadly flying coconuts. Zac was about to unleash all his wrath upon her... except that he slipped. He lost his footing on the sand, and ended up being launched up high into the air along with the coconuts, albeit with a different trajectort. His coconut attack, though was still a success. One, two, three, four, five! Five big coconuts flew their way towards Rumee, each with the purpose of giving her a nasty bruise. Meanwhile, Zac was flying through the air with an arc that would have him eventually crush onto his Captain. He curled himself into a ball and surrounded his body with a thick layer of Goo, before hardening it, turning into a large ball of steel-like Goo that would crush on the little Rumee down below. Now, this would hurt.

Rumee was now about to be bombarded by coconuts. It was a Hawaiian nightmare. She formed a baseball bat from her blood and hardened it to the maximum level she could muster at her current level. She proceeded to bat the incoming coconuts towards Zac, who was now cannon balling towards her. One!... Two!... Three!... Four...! And, for the finish... Five!... She hit all of the coconuts towards Zac. She didn't care if they harmed him at all, she just wanted to get in a bit of practice. That's what a spar is for, right? Still, she had to deal with the biggest ball of all.. Zac himself was still headed towards her. She decided she would test out the sharpness of her blood vs the defense of his goo. Increasing her footing by digging spikes of blood into the sand from the soles of her shoes- like cleats. She then did a similar treatment to her bat, as it was now covered with sharp spikes. "Hey batter batter.. Hey batter batter!.... SWING!" Having a bit of fun with it, she would swing her bat at her cannon ball for a comrade.

The coconuts were nothing in front of his hardened Goo. They bursted into smithereens upon impact, leaving nothing behind but a white milk stain on a purple ball of Goo. From inside the ball, Zac could feel the impact vibrations. However, he couldn't make out what was going on outside. "I should learn how to Haki so I won't be blind inside this thing..." He thought. The ball kept going and was batted away by Rumee. The bat swing itself did not harm Zac much, however the sudden change in direction caused him to feel nausea. "What the hell is going on?!" By loosening the Goo in a certain spot, Zac popped his head outside only to see him flying in a totally different direction from the intended one. "Woah!" He reformed the Goo around his body into a parachute and braced the fall. The Goo reformed once again and wrapped itself around his two arms, forming two giant fists.

"Alright, Captain. Enough playing. Let's do this up close and personal." He began walking towards Rumee.

Zac was now walking towards her, talking about doing things up close and personal. He sported two giant fists made from his goo. Rumee decided she would play along. However Rumee's blood was more suited to slicing, rather than blunt force. She couldn't match him fist for fist, so she decided to do what she could. She formed two bloodied katana in her hands. It took some time to form them. She first had to generate the required amount of blood, and then shape it. Finally, she had to hardened so it would actually cut. Once she and Zac met mid-way, she would proceed and make the first attack. She moved in for what seemed like a basic slash at Zac's torso. However she immediately ducked and went for a cross slash aimed at Zac's waistline instead.
