If you are into deep, psychological romance. And if you arent afraid of having the main person as the villian.
Then i suggest you try The Book of Loss
Its set in 17th century japan i think. And its so far the best book ive ive read. Try it

I have not read either but I would recommend The Way of Kings: Book One of The Stormlight Archive as Brandon Sanderson completed Robert Jordanís Wheel of Time saga, which is a great series

    Other recommendations:
    Audible:
Vampire Earth Series A dark Sci-Fi series set on earth after it is conquered by aliens.

The Underland Chronicles A Fantasy series, the age target is rather low but it is still a good series.

Legend of Drizzt A Really long Fantasy series (30+ books) set in the Forgotten Realms universe.

    Non-Audible:
The Drenai Saga I have only read books 10 and 11, focusing on character Skilgannon the Damned, these 2 books are quite good but very very dark and bloody
