Fountain of Giants - Maneki-neko Casino
The Bar - The Woman's Inquiry!

    [Sensui | Hale | Prometheus]

"Have faith in the woman who is trying to strike a deal with our enemy? Have faith in the woman who would sell her own family and kin for her own gain? Have faith in the woman who took my mother's life..!? How do you have faith in such a woman?!"- Ruby Red screamed
"Because... because she hurts more than all of us... And I.... I.... I will end that pain! And anyone in the way of that goal!!!"- Sensui's voice answered, filled with conviction
A loud gasp took the small wooden-like room. Resting against a bed made of cloud stood a merman, blue in tentacle and red in beak. The merman, at least 40 years of age, scraped the sloshing jug of alcohol across the table pulling it to his beak. The merman's cheeks turned red, slowly, before he looked to his right. Across the room, against a table, was a bounty poster. A bounty poster of old, with the imprint 'Deceased' on it's face. The bounty poster of La Spada. Visions flooded in, of tales past. Visions of tales stuck on his mind in rerun, looping his consciousness. La Spada. Terra. Ra. Red. Uvogin. Sinbad. Visions that did not subside. As of late, these visions had begun to come back. Sensui's eyes followed a soft voice, ending up in a Tone Dial. A recording sent to the commander from the Oracle.

"The underworld holds no lodge for those who hold the future."- the old Oracle said

    Suddenly, a knock came.

"Sir! We're coming out of the underwater current! Course of action?"- a voice hollered form the other end of the door
"Yara, yara, yara. Keep the ship underwater. Send me the coordinates"- the merman ordered, with a signature speech impediment
"Sir, yes, sir! Intel has The Inquisition based on a casino called Maneki-neko Casino. Your convoy is waiting, commander!"- the voice responded

With a step and swish, the merman grabbed the bounty poster, his jug, and a staff at the end of the room. He took one last look at the Tone Dial, and shut it off. Covering his eyes, the merman took in the light as he stepped out of the room. On the deck, two dozen fishermen of all creeds and colors stood waiting. Around the ship, other mermen swam about, past the Bubble Coral that hung around the ship. A flag was on the ship, simply red; the Revolutionary Army flag. The commander walked past the soldiers, receiving updates by an older fishman in a karate costume. One of the commander's tentacles grabbed the report on the tracking signal and transmission. On the cover, a name was plastered; Prometheus. They had no intel on the appearance of the man. At the edge of the ship, a smaller vehicle lay, also surrounded by a bubble, fit for three. There, two fishmen, know by the seas as powerhouses, awaited.

    "A drunken shadow seeks fate."
    "To memories of old await."
"Seek the love of peace he said."
"Atop the will of loved ones dead."

"Not today. Xing. Xang. Take me to the casino."- the commander stated, his eyes flashing celestially golden

The camera whirled back into frame, showing the merman sitting quietly in the bar, several aways from the man talking to himself. A man tired by all respects, falling into slumber. A woman came into the room, and unlike the commander, went for the straight shot. She demanded to see the head honcho. The merman would bring his drink to his mouth, and chuckle. This woman was one confident. The merman would help out.

"Tha' beauty means Prometheus, barkeep. HICCUP!!!"- the merman said after the woman spoke, seemingly enabling her actions

    Ragnarok Three - Euphoria's Wink
    Regis, Miles, Juri

The whole of the establishment was quiet, being that you could find more cheer in a graveyard. One other man was at the bar that Juri could tell. He seemed familiar from what Juri could tell, but she couldn't put her finger on it. She sometimes wished that her sight hadn't been taken from her so she could see people's faces. At least the rest of her senses had been heightened to superhuman levels to compensate, and her mantra was very helpful. The sake was delivered to her, and she started to drink.

The atmosphere changed when a newcomer came in and approached the old man at the bar. This person was an entity whose persona made Juri uncomfortable. The conversation between this guy and the old man wasn't hushed by any means, so it was easy for Juri to listen. The old man spoke in sea puns, which put Juri on edge. He was also powerful with ice by how they talked - that detail put Juri's hair on edge. It couldn't be...he was known to have had his powers removed during her campaign in Cherry Hawk. And then the new guy called him by his name, and Juri's heart skipped a beat.

    It was Koko.

Juri was visibly on edge, and even more so her mantra was picking up malice from this guy. He accused Koko of having been followed, and the comment was most certainly directed at Juri. In her mind's eye, her mantra picked up something of a knife into her back. Juri was put on the defensive, her hands at the ready to defend. But nothing came of it. This left her confused - why did she see that image if the guy didn't follow through with it? Was his intent that powerful that he could possibly trick her into thinking something different?

Direct action wasn't the way to go. Juri decided that jumping right to conclusions and confronting Koko would lead to unnecessary problems. The best course of action was to observe - she needed more information on Koko and his boss before she tried anything. She also decided not to talk to Koko - the less he knew about her, the better. And so, she tried to calm her nerves and go back to drinking her sake. It would be her only bottle. The boss guy let Koko off the hook, and gave the old man some sort of medicine.

Ragnarok III - Those Who are Silent and Those Who Ask
The bar remained as lively as it were once the man with red lips left, and the life continued. Juri was still quiet, but some others took over. Regis, a strange man who entered this bar that was certainly not in his tastes, would order whatever filthy wine this establishment had. Indeed, the wine was filthy, but the man had a jug. A boy, certainly underage for a bar, came in. He was Miles. The barkeep would harass the kid, but would leave him after a brief talk. It was the kid's right to sit around a den of evil, after all.

Another man would enter and sit, but this on was different. Tylor was his name, and he was the only one here who could recognize Koko for who he was. However, despite fighting Naix together with time freezing for roughly ten minutes, Koko was murmuring and grasping at Tylor's face. It was hard for the old man to recognize Koko, but Tylor could see why: the old sailor was well beyond his age and cataracts had been settling in. Koko was hard to speak, turning to ignore Tylor, but something drove the ex-admiral to turn and talk. Something in the man quivered his mind.

"Maybe I did sail with ye once. It's been too long, though. Thirty years had past since I last had a companion in arms. Thirty hard... years..."

Thirty years the old man said, yet the math made little sense. Naix was at most three to four years passed. It was hard to see if it were a lie or a disease, but Koko's appearance did look that much worse for wear. Of course, if Tylor recognized him, that would be an alert. The man was too old and gone to be his former self.

"Life has taken me so far yet this is where I die. Slaving over Joy... maybe I can make it easier... I've got the papers... yes."

Koko was mumbling by now. Tylor was no longer on his mind, gone in fact from the thoughts of Koko. Rambling, Koko would get out of his chair and begin to cough. A clearing of the throat, Koko was ready to speak aloud to the group.

"Attention all ye who are in this fine establishment! Not one of ye here might recognize who I am, save those gents pushing drugs."

Collectively, the gents pushing drugs would raise their heads and their mugs in a silent cheer. Koko spoke not with animosity towards them, but sort of with a matter-of-factly tone. Koko would continue.

"I am Ex-Admiral Koko of the Marine Navy. I'm old, too old to do what I need in order to furl my sails and stay in port for good. But I have a bounty to deliver: I needin' the head and devil fruit of the man named Prometheus!"

The announcement rang through the room, and the room would be silent for those who weren't narrated. A name was dropped, and a terms was delivered.

"Posters... I will have posters by the 'morrow. 300 million beri, and something from my travels. Cursed wares, documents... I am old and ready to die. I have no use for it. For now, one poster. One poster for this bar."

Unfurling a creaking page of paper, Koko would place it upon the bar top. The barkeep would assist, taking the page and placing it flat against a wall. With a knife, the bar man placed the bounty. 300 million beri for the head of one Prometheus. The picture, looking recent, was of a thin man, bespectacled, and green in hair color. His location was said to be in the Red Floaty District, wherever that could be.

"That is all. I will be by the warehouse in the purple district. I'll be there, resting. His head and his fruit... so I can rest in Joy..."

Koko would begin to shamble away from the bar, heading out to wander the dark streets that were much of the underwater ways. The purple district was a unique place, where the lights glowed mauve and the stone was dark and bleak with flakes of purple. Warehouses were common any where in the city, but at least there was a place to return a loped head to.

    Amber, Mr Torgue

Marine HQ was running around like children who accidentally lit firecrackers and stuck them in their pants because their Fleet Admiral had decided to up and go play hooky. Mr Torgue had decided to take a vacation from his paperwork for the third time in a row, dumping it on whoever else was there, and caught a boat to the Fountain of Giants. His boat had made it to Stone Hinge, the first major city of the mountainous region. He walked about and took in all the sights and scenery. It was weird and awesome, and it made him appreciate that there are some things that shouldn't be exploded. NO TAKE THAT BACK ALL THINGS SHOULD BE EXPLODED.

From Stone Hinge, there were two different ways to travel further to other cities. One was by submarine, the reliable and safe way. The other was to ride some sketch ass rockets through a waterfall.

    "Hmmm..."

And there Mr Torgue stood, in between the booths for the two options. He wore his purple Hawaiian shirt with white flowers and blue jeans. He had his officer's coat on because reasons that weren't necessarily rational or that made sense. He wore because he was the biggest badass of the Navy, and everyone else had to know it. He carefully considered the pros and cons of either riding in a submarine or riding a rocket. Obviously, the Badass Code of Justice didn't allow for anything to be done half-assed, for half ass was the mortal enemy of badass. If you didn't do it like a badass, then it wasn't worth doing in the first place.

"I WILL TOTALLY RIDE A ROCKET LIKE A COWBOY RIDES A BADASS DIAMOND PONY INTO BATTLE!!"

Mr Torgue exclaimed his decision right at the same time a young girl also asked to ride a rocket. He turned his head to look down at her, blinked a few times behind his sunglasses, and then blurted the next thing that came into his head at her.

"You totally look like a badass b(bleep)tch ready to do badass sh(bleep)t! I MEANT THAT TOTALLY AS A COMPLIMENT!!"

Maneki-neko Casino - Red Floaty District
    Sensui, Hale, Ceasar

The Maneki-neko Casino was fairly quiet today. There were a few patrons, gambling in the machines that still remained. Many of the slot machines had been removed or put into storage due to the work going on in the basement. Still, about five slot machines, a roulette table, a blackjack table, and a craps table all still remained. Most regulars to the casino had left after the Inquisition came. Most considered them to be bad news, even among the most unsavory types in society. Though the casino was not empty by any means. Cards were still dealt, dice were rolled, and slot machines spun. Though some faces were a bit more important than others.

Ceasar was the first to enter, taking up a seat at one of the slot machines. Next to him would be an old woman feeding coin after coin into the machine. Next was Sensui. He had taken up a seat at the bar, three stools down from Prometheus himself. Neither individual payed particular mind to the other. Prometheus was in a slumber, while Sensui had no idea that the sleeping man was in fact the Inquisitor. Though the third person of note would change things. Hale came in, clearly annoyed, and would head straight to the bar keep.

    "Barkeep, bring out your boss!"

"Tha' beauty means Prometheus, barkeep. HICCUP!!!"

Hands were slammed on the counter, stirring the Inquisitor awake with a start, as two voices conversed with the barkeep. The first demanded for the boss, the second clarified with a name. Prometheus looked at the two, with glasses lifted as he rubbed his eye. The barkeep did not speak to Hale or Sensui, instead just pointing his thumb sideways, gesturing towards Prometheus. The green haired man would place his glasses back on his nose before addressing the two before him.

You have business with me? No, no, no, no, no. That won't do. That can't be right. I'm too busy for guests. You two!

Prometheus' tone and volume would shift as he spoke. His words came off questioning at first, but soon turned into a muttering that was clearly only intended for himself. Though soon enough he'd rise to his feet and point at Sensui and Hale. It was clear something clicked, or perhaps maybe not. Either way, he was now speaking directly to the two that were at the bar with him.

Why are you here? I'm quite busy. I want... What did I want? I was after the thing, I suppose. No... Anyway, I've not the time. Please come back later. I've too much to do, yet so little energy to do it.

Prometheus was not direct. His words were jumbled, and he certainly didn't come off as anyone to be counted as a leader. He'd return to his seat at the bar. Though he wouldn't remain seated for long. He'd stand up again, without warning. The barkeep would simply roll his eyes at the Inquisitor. His attention wasn't on Hale and Sensui this time, rather he would speak to himself, louder than before. He was not muttering.

    That's it! Of course! Brilliant!

The green haired man climbed up on top of the bar and gazed out into the casino, addressing every soul in this place. For once his thoughts seemed to all click together and he would speak clearly what he wanted to say to them all.

Yes, excuse me. I have a Job. This job is for every one of you. Very simple, you see. Ragnarok III, Purple District. I want you to go there and kill an old man. You might know him as Ex-Admiral Koko. Kill him, bring me proof, and the Inquisition will reward you with riches beyond measure.

As Prometheus spoke, an image would fill various screens spread out across the casino. Every single one of them showed the picture of Ex-Admiral Koko. Prometheus would breath a sigh of relief as he stepped down from the bar. It was clear this was a task the Inquisitor did not wish to deal with himself. Great wealth was promised, and now a choice was given to those present.

    Amber, Mr Torgue

The excited young girl had arrived at the rockets. Green Dudes stood before her. Questions flew from her mouth. Though before she could get answers, in fact, before she'd even finished talking, someone else spoke at the same time as her. Mr. Torgue himself was here in the flash. He too was interested in riding the rockets like a badass. Not only that, he would call Amber a badass bitch. Amber took it as a compliment.

Aw yeah! Lets do this! Race ya to the top, Highfive!

It was clear Amber didn't know who exactly she was talking to, she didn't keep up on the details of who was in power or a big dog. Still, she could tell this guy knew what fun was. As such, she extended a high five to the Fleet Admiral before turning her attention back to the Green Dudes. One of them would finally reply to Amber's question of if she could ride.

Ye can ride, but ya gots ta pay first lassie.

Amber would rustle in her pockets, searching for whatever she could find. Eventually she'd find a small coin pouch and hand it to the Green Dude, who was probably an Ork... Or a Digganob. The specifics were unclear. He'd look at the coins before giving the go ahead. Torgue would likely need to pay for his own rocket as well. After getting the go ahead, Amber would climb aboard her rocket and look at Torgue, waiting for him to get ready. A grin overtook her face as she spoke to the Fleet Admiral.

    Ragnarok Three - Euphoria's Wink
    Regis, Tylor, Miles, Juri

Juri waited and listened. Now that she had interacted with Koko's boss' aura, she was familiar with him by mantra. That, and she also knew his scent and what he sounded like. The others in the bar started to liven up, including Koko himself. He gave off the aura that he was old and weakened, but if his boss had hired him to do a job then he still was powerful enough to do it. Another man had a brief exchange with Koko, one of which Juri thought she may have recognized. But like with Koko before, she couldn't put her finger on it. If only she could see faces.

Koko made his announcement. He wanted the criminals and other hunters to go after a man by the name of Prometheus. A bounty on his head was that of 300 million berries. The wanted poster was posted to the wall of the bar, secured in by a sharp knife. Again, if only she could see faces. But she had managed to pick up several clues. By what Koko said, he was a Devi Fruit user, which gave her a solid first clue:

"Good. Goooood. That fiery **** won't know what hit him. Kehahahe...!"
Fiery and devil fruit user - could this man have consumed the Mera? Last she knew, a pirate by the name of Jack in the CCP wielded those powers. Had the fruit transferred from one user to another? It was unlikely, but there were forces in this world and beyond that could rip peoples' fruits from their bodies and transfer them to another without death. Hell, that was looking to be the case with Koko.

The other clue wasn't as obvious, but the basis on how it was repeated, and the context, tipped Juri off:

"Excellent. Hey, keep it weird. I got more deliveries so, be joyful. So full... of Joy. Kehe."
"Life has taken me so far yet this is where I die. Slaving over Joy..."
"That is all. I will be by the warehouse in the purple district. I'll be there, resting. His head and his fruit... so I can rest in Joy..."
Joy. The word usually meant a feeling of content. But here that didn't seem to be the case - the context in which it was being used, it implied that it meant something else. While the others might go and look at the bounty poster, Juri finished her sake and made her way outside of the bar. She had some searching to do.

Because of her prowess in mantra, she could search the whole city and find what she was looking for. That, combined with her superhuman senses she could listen in on many things at once. Here, she would take some time and focus solely on searching for Koko's boss. She didn't need to tail him - as long as she could find his aura, and then focus in on him with her mantra and her listening, she was sure she could find answers as to what was truly going on. What was Joy? Why was Koko doing work for the man? What caused Koko to be in his old and decrepit state? She needed answers, and she intended to find them. Prometheus was everyone's target, but Juri wanted the truth.

Warehouses were common any where in the city, but at least there was a place to return a loped head to.
Koko would shrug Tylor off, stating that he had not known camaraderie in 30 years. For the time being, Tylor would go with the assumption that he was mistaken about the man and they did not actually know each other. Though, this assumption quickly faded away as Koko announced himself to the group. Shocking as it was, this man had to be Koko. Though significantly aged looking, he looked similar to the Koko that Tylor had worked with back during the incident of Four Nations.

    "Koko...?"

Nothing about Koko's attitude registered as normal to Tylor. A man who was once known as an Admiral and was willing to go so far as to stop a Dyna Stone powered Time Stopper would not fall to this level of his own volition. It had only been a couple of years, but Koko alone would have been enough to handle a man worth only 300 Million Beri. So why was he sending others to do the work for him? Something was clearly wrong with Koko and Tylor would get to the bottom of it personally.

"I can't let a great man fade into nothingness like this."

During Koko's speech, Tylor had taken note of the mention of drug pushers in the room and those who rejoiced in reaction. Juri stepped out of the bar without making mention of what she was doing, so Tylor had no reason to follow her. He knew where Koko would be, but he seemed like he wasn't quite in the talking mood. So Tylor would have to settle things on a personal level, with a quick chat with these drug pushers in the room. Getting up from his chair, Tylor would walk to the table (or closest table if they're spread out) where the pushers were gathered. In seconds, he would have a gun pulled on one and a sword on the other.

    "Let's talk about your drugs."

Great wealth was promised, and now a choice was given to those present.
Hale's demand would be quickly answered by the shocking awakening of Prometheus and the bartender's gesture. Much to her dismay, the leader of the bar seemed to be a strange one; muttering to himself and not paying attention to his surroundings. Apparently, even the bartender wasn't a big fan of the man's attitude. Yet the man would quickly jump atop the bar and make an announcement. Whoever killed the Ex-Admiral Koko would be greatly rewarded. All those in the casino would be shown the picture of the man (presumably in his drug addled oldness). The request made Hale sick. It was one thing to go after a criminal but to kill an old man, much less one that looked to be in such horrible condition was terrible. If she didn't already feel like punching Prometheus in the face, she definitely would've now.

    "Job refused, Scumbag!"

As she shouted, she swung at Prometheus. Her arm and fist were blackened with her immense Armaments Haki as darkness swirled around it for added visual effect and to nullify any Devil Fruit power he might have. The punch was a right hook meant to strike him right in the face. With her immense strength, this was no punch to be trifled with. It would hurt if it made contact. If it didn't...well, the bar might have to take the force behind it. Regardless, Hale took her position in this fight. She meant to make herself the target of all those in the city.

Red Floaty District - Maneki-neko Casino

Caesar was sitting at a slot machine, not getting much luck out of it. The old woman next to him was feeding the machine coins like there was no bottom to the pit that was her wealth... or optimism. He didn't really care to see if she was having any success with it. What caught his attention and distracted him was the ruckus that Hale was causing. Slamming her hand on the bar and demanding that the barkeep called the boss, said boss was quickly identified as the drowsy man sitting at that exact same bar. A short monologue that was too all over the place for Caesar to keep track of it, followed by a loud statement that any man or woman who travelled to Ragnarok III, Purple District and brought back the head of former Navy Admiral Koko, would be rewarded great wealth. This interested Caesar, though he wasn't really gonna attempt it himself. He always liked to be the newsman for Irra, who told her of interesting things to do, and then let her do it.

Back in the shack where Irra was resting, a shadow suddenly appeared over her sleeping body. The shadow led up to the window. On the edge of the window crouched a woman with a big grin on her face, and a sack strapped over her left shoulder. In her right, she held a red plate filled with sake. She took a big gulp of the sake and then jumped into the room, her geta making noise as she landed on the wooden floor. She walked up to the sleeping Irra and spoke - her tone of voice powerful and rowdy.

''Oi Irra, wake the hell up! Look at you, all defenseless! Remember what father taught us?! Never let your guard down!''

She said, grinning. Irra opened her eyes, and towering over her, standing was Akai, her long-time friend. Both of the women smiled, and Irra spoke.

''It's been a long time, Akai.''

''Yeah... I'm done with my mountain training.
    Wha' happened to your arm...
    ''

    Akai noticed.

''I lost it in that Buster Call that wiped out Ambervale...''

''Ah... I heard about that. You were there?
Oh well... you can still kick ass with one arm.
    ''

Akai said, grinning. Irra smiled - it was refreshing to see Akai shrug Irra's situation off like it was nothing. She didn't need her to concern and add to the stress. At that time, Irra's Den Den Mushi went off. By the appearence of the Den Den Mushi, Caesar was calling.

''Hey, you're not gonna believe what's going on. I'm in the Maneki-neko Casino and some guy just stood up on the bar and said that he would offer a reward for anyone that killed former Navy Admiral Koko.

    Also, Sensui is here.
    ''

Caesar said - obviously recognizing Sensui, since they were fellow Commanders of the Revolutionary Army. Irra looked at Akai, and the latter grinned and nodded.

''Wanna go blow off some steam?''

Akai asked, Irra nodding, before answering Caesar.

    ''We're on our way.''

Irra stood up and donned her equipment. She jumped out of the window, followed by Akai, and the two made their way down to the casino running.

    Stone Hinge - Rocket Rodeo!!
    Amber, Mr Torgue

The girl that also wanted to ride rockets took Mr Torgue's random blurt as a compliment, and even thus challenged the Fleet Admiral to a rocket riding race. And she did the next best badass thing that anyone who called themselves a badass could do: she extended a high five. Mr Torgue got so ****ing hype that he returned the high five with strength enough to send an elephant flying. He didn't mean to hurt her. He just really ****ing loved high fives. It was even his middle name.

"MY BAD!! I don't even know my own strength sometimes!"

Torgue apologized for using too much strength on the high five. After Amber got back up, she went over to the booth and spoke with the green men. She had to pay, and pulled out her coin purse and paid the toll. After that was all said and done, she turned back over to Mr Torgue and started smack talking. But she would find that he wasn't there.

He was already on top of a rocket, straddling the metal and holding on with one hand while the other was out for balance.

"ROCKET RODEO!! TIME TO NUT THE F(bleep) UP OR SHUT THE F(bleep)CK UP!!"

Mr Torgue in his ecstatic enthusiasm had gotten past the toll booth and was ready to ride the rocket without paying the fee. This would most likely upset the green men who made a living by charging people to ride rockets, but Torgue was completely oblivious in his fervor to ride a rocket.
