    Free Roam - Gravity Rises

    Gravity Rises Sky City
Behold the strangest of places and locations. Floating in the air, spheres islands hover in place above the ocean and sky, spinning like miniature planets. Each has its own unique life sustaining on its surface, and all have gravity that holds any to its mass. Civilization found this and built cities and landscapes, all while floating in a constant spinning motion above the tides. Gravity is the law, and a law that is hard to face with any normalcy of understanding.

Many of the island sized spheres hold nothing but fauna, vegetation, and biomes, though a few have been settled by human culture. The most affluent of places is the Gravity Arcade, a city built with layers of stone not unlike Water Seven. Waves crash at the ground of the floating planetoid, and a spiraling city of stone rose to hold life and boating industries. However, much of the success is in part thanks to the trade New Age Genetics brings.

Other islands are more calm. Standard villages with agriculture grow crops and food for the other islands. The most tame has a government academy that houses sages and savants. Peace and knowledge are power there, with information trade being common.

The most dangerous island has both a deep sea to its core, a core that would crush normal human should they ever fall into it, and a active volcano. As one would expect, the force of that volcano spins the island, and truly acts as a vertigo hell hole. However, more ancient minded societies have taken up living on such a terrible island, are are stone faced from the deadening of their senses.

More islands exist, though to get to them, one must find the barge lands. Boats that stay on the ocean act both as a buffer for those who get flung from the small rocks, should they break from the gravity that holds them, and as a means for ships to travel to these lands. A bubble invention is able to provide ample lift for any who wish to visit.

    Gravity Arcade
    - A major hub of trade similar to the design of Water Seven.
    - Water covers the sphere, and city rises from the tides to host civilization.
    - Both a trade hub, a craft hub, and and business hub.
    - New Age Genetics is a sponsor and main contributor of the financial stability.

    The Enclave of Greens
    - Peaceful farmlands filled with animals, people, and studious adventures.
    - Most of the animals have more of an education here than you do.
    - The Enclave is a place of debate and information trade.
    - Villainy and good will often meet, to better plan around each other.
    - Has its own police force of undercover nice people.

    Spin Top Sphere
    - A deep trench covers half the island with water.
---> Probably filled with mysteries and death.
    - A volcano and mountain make the other half.
    - The volcano erupts, often spinning the island on its axis really, really natiously.
    - The natives are dead inside, and outside, but they take pride in stone craft and voodoo.

    Barge Lands
    - A land of boats and floating debris that can get you to any of the many floating sphere lands.
    - Trade happens between boats and is highly, highly unregulated.
    - NAG and Marines both have ships often acting as floating islands to better stabilize the fleet.
    - Ship transports are handled with bubble technology.

    ... and more
    - To add a location you need, PM/VM/OOC me.

    Rules
    - Don't be a dick.
    - Don't wantonly interrupt other's RP. It's okay to ask first.
    - Quests must be approved by GM.
    - More always to come.

General - Bo - Others if they are still around
    Arriving to Barge Lands

"You are doing well, Ringling! Keep going, keep going..."

    "Blerggle blrrgle!"

The fishwoman would try to speak, only finding water catching her voice as she paddled underneath the scrap boat. How, in that massive ship, was she able to speak from under it at its center was made obvious by a single observation; the ship's middle section has long eroded. Parts have since failed off, with little to keep the entire unit together. Whatever orks were aboard had long been eaten by the crew, as a mushroom orderve. Dock was in sight and almost immediately, all aboard would leap from the crap ship to solid landing, stepping aboard a pier that was also a ship.

Bo and General, with her minions in tow though some missing the pier, would make landfall at the Barge Lands. Much time and talk has since passed from the last encounter, and the two and plus were looking to relax in this land of floating island spheres.

"Fresh air for Bo. Well, boat had fresh air, but smelled of dead people."

"Orks are very unclean. No good."

    An adventure awaited.

The Enclave of Greens - Bruce
Koriko village. The green terror goes to space.

His head was heavy with a mild headache but Bruce managed to get up. His legs still weak as he moved forward stumbling every now and then. The man's clothes were ripped and shattered. His coat and shirt vanished and pants reduced to shorts. His mind was still a haze unable to take in the information around him but he knew this sensation and knew should have happened.

"I'll never get used to this..." - Bruce spoke softly, voice weak and without energy.
"Need...to...get...away..fro....ere..." The young man spoke as fatigue took its toll and knocking him out.

The view widened and revealed smoke and fire coming from a village behind if observed closely one could see people moving out of the village. Some seemed to have survived the carnage that transpired inside of the village. Bruce in his quest to get away reached the middle point between Koriko village and Hateno. The neighbouring village could easily see the smoke and the fire and were heading towards their allies to help them contain the fire. Several groups moved out until one of them noticed Bruce laying on the floor all banged up and knocked out. From his appearance alone one would immediately jump to the conclusion that he was a survivor. The commander and hateno elder who leaded the aid moved one of his men towards Bruce to see what was up.

"Oooi! We got a survivor! He's still alive" - The young man shouted.
"Good! Yuno take him and move him to the infirmary" - The leader shouted back.

Yuno the young boy quickly did what was ordered and grabbed Bruce by his right arm and lifted him around his neck and shoulder. He'd carry the man back towards his home village.

The other groups would move towards Koriko village only to find footprints in the ground that were not human in the slightest. The commander moved his boys into the village to stop the fire and look for survivors. The elder looked with disbelief at the foot prints and could only speak with terror.

"By the heavens. What kind of animal does this sort of thing?"

Unknown to the Elder, Hateno was next. As a terrible monster was brought upon these lands.

The Enclave of Greens - Koriko Village @Guren

A catastrophe had befallen Koriko Village of The Enclave of Greens. What exactly had happened was a mystery, and only a survivor would know. There was such a survivor. The rowdy woman that went by the alias of Demon and the name of Akai was in the village when it all went down. One would not expect for Akai to be in such a village, but her rowdiness was only outshined by her hunger to learn new things. That was why she had secluded herself in the mountains for the past two years in the first place.

When Akai was in the village, a massive fire suddenly took it. Akai would be able to help, but she was in handcuffs of Kairouseki. What exactly she had done to deserve the handcuffs was unknown, but it did prevent her from saving the village. By the time it had all burnt down, Akai finally got rid of the handcuffs and ran out of the shack that she had been calling her home for the past 7 days. On her way out, she saw a monstrosity. That monstrosity was definitely responsible for the destruction of Koriko Village. Identity: unknown. Sure had a back of muscles though.

Akai left the village. At this point, the fire had spread too much for her to stop it. Mysteriously, the fire stayed away from her wherever she went. She made her way toward the neighbors, Hateno Village, looking for shelter. There was stiill a few days left before she would meet an ally here. She had to wait.

    ''What a mess...''

The Enclave of Greens - Edge of Hateno village
    Bruce, Akai

The village of Koriko had suffered a significant amount of damage. It took the people of Hateno and a fire squad to finally stop the fire. It was far too late though, most of the crops if not all of it was lost in the fire. Many villagers lost their homes into the fire and those were the lucky ones many of them didn't even make it out alive. The local police squads and its arson division were already investigating the area and looking for a trail of whoever did this. One agent of this local police force stood near the entrance leading into Koriko village. Akai would spot him as she arrived into the village and overhear his conversation with what looked like a colleague or his partner.

"So they found nothing in the village?" The young man with the fur coat spoke while Koriko village was still in his view.
"Afraid so. The fire burnt everything away and those that could tell us something are no longer with us." His partner with the bandaged arms replied.
"You'd think something that leaves foot prints like that would be easy to find."
"I'd take it your search here also provided no results?"
"So far...they did drag a guy from there towards here. Villagers that took him in said he looked as if he survived a horrible battle."

Suddenly a normal guard would move his spear in front of Akai, blocking her from entering the village. This in turn would cause the policemen to turn their attention towards the woman. The young man with the fur coat would move towards her and both agents showed their badges. Proving that they were part of a local police unit. The man with the fur coat was called Shinya and the other one was called Dazai.

"Sorry Ma'am. The village is currently tied to an investigation. No one gets in or out without police permission." - Shinya said stoic and for many people would come across as rather rude.
"Hey hey. That's no way to talk to someone." Daizai said as he quickly intervened
"My apologies for my partner. His social skills are...wel rather lacking." The young man said as he placed his hands into the pockets of his coat.
"Unfortunately he speaks the truth that no one gets into Hateno right now. If you came here to see someone I'd hapily give them a message."

Dazai said showing that he was a person Akai could reason with if she wanted to. One thing was clear though, getting into this village right now was nigh to impossible without getting an entire police force on her back.

Would she risk it? Or was there another way of getting inside of this place?

Barge Lands - The Legend of The Fallen - Enter Lockjaw

Many a pirate, marine, and merchant gather in they barge lands, an area where ship and debris meet. The water was murky and unclean, and the people were far worse. Some sought out illegal trade, others sought out the next big thing, while some took advantage of naivety for their own benefits. No matter the reason, there was something here for everyone.

The Barge Lands was a hub for illegal trade, and today rumors of a big score were out and about. Almost every merchant and dealer was selling information about this score, most of it false, but some of it true. Anywhere you went, there was a story afoot. A tale of a sunken armada,
filled with riches galore. Some say it hid a devil fruit. Some say it hid cursed weapons. Some said the marine presence in the Barge was only to find this fallen armada. Differentiating truth from fiction was up to the listener, but one thing was for certain, adventure awaited anyone who sought it.

Twas a man who frequented the barge, but for a reason unlike any other. This man simply wanted one thing... To fix the teeth of those who couldn't afford proper care. It was a Fishman, a massive shark by the name of Lockjaw.
He had accumulated debris and used it as a small island where he had set up his dentistry. Many a mouth came to see the shark, and they all had the same thing to say. "Have you heard about the fallen??", "What do you think the treasure is??", "Is this gonna cost me??", and other similar questions.

Lockjaw had grown tired of the tales, and opted to close up shop for the day. He'd have other things to do, namely finding the source of these rumors and putting them to bed so he could practice dentistry in peace. The shark, after closing shop, made his way to a small ship called The Bottom Feeder. It was like a food truck of sorts, but was known more for feeding lies that feeding people. Many people who sought out information made their way there.

The only other two places where information was sold to the highest bidder, was a pirate ship owned by an arms dealer known as, Big Black Johnny; and the other was from a marine ship where the captain used rumors to earn money from the lesser kind. Any who sought out this information would end up in one of these three places. The choice was yours, and the stories would differ.

The Enclave of Greens - Koriko Village @Guren

It took a little bit because she wasn't really in any type of a hurry, but Akai finally made it to the neighbor village - Hateno Village. While she was on her way there, she met a couple of people from the village, who were rushing to help their neighbor that was burning down. When Akai finally made it to the gate, she heard two men talking. Apparently, they were looking for the perpetrator, but to no avail. After a few seconds, they finally noticed her, thanks to the actions of a fodder guard. The two men walked up to Akai and spoke. Based on how the first one spoke, he was rather sharp. The second one was a bit soother. Akai nodded to the second one while ignoring the first, and spoke.

''On my way here, I saw some of the men from your village rushing to aid Koriko. I'm assuming you were on positive terms with them.
And now I overheard you talking about the perpetrator. I have some information.
    ''

Akai said, likely much to the surprise of the two men. She had information to give, though it wasn't much. Naturally, she wouldn't mention the low extent of the information that she had. After all, she needed them to let her into the village to stay there for a few days. If the two men agreed, Akai would enter and invite them for a drink. She would share her information there. If not, well, Akai had other means of getting inside.

Barge Lands - Legend Of The Fallen

It was of no surprise that a trading hub of illegal trade contains more than just shady businesses, there are many sorts of information being traded or bought to one’s benefit. This is a place where information gathering for the next big thing is crucial for treasure hunters. Spade is a man that enjoys his treasures and lives for the adventuring. He arrived at Barge Lands just recently, specifically just yesterday night. He came to see if this floating city made of spherical islands held some treasure. How he arrive to this city is anyone's guess but given his capabilities getting here is easy enough.

As Spade strolls the streets, words of a sunken armada have already hit the streets. Where no one seems to be aware what is hidden under the ship yet rumors of the ship carrying riches are the main point of the rumors being started at all. Eavesdropping on the people talking whilst standing by a corner, it seems that there are 3 places of information, from a pirate crew that deals with arms, a marine ship located near by or a little ship that is much more further it seems and remote as well. A decision is to be made in regards to these 3 places, and all 3 seems rather reasonable.

    15 minutes later.

Standing on a port that a large pirate ship is currently docked on. An area that seems incredibly unsafe with the large amounts of what it appears to be pirates around. Yet Spade stood confident alone, walking up to the nearest man, the gentleman spoke politely.

“Good day, I heard I may inquire information over the sunken armada.”

Barge Lands - Legend of the Fallen
    Hype, Sea, Domo

The Barge Lands, this is where Amaterasu would find herself after he adventures on the giant snake. Last thing she remembers was her fight with the demon known as Bo. She had lived, though not without a few scars and bruises. Amaterasu would be staying at a shady hotel in town, using it as a place to lick her wounds for a while. While staying in town, the goddess would here word again and again about a sunken armada. Riches beyond measure were said to be there.

Amaterasu was not one to pass up such a haul. She is an arrogant one, regarding herself as a goddess, but if there is one thing that competes with her pride, it is her greed. She desires riches, tribute to her divinity. This treasure would be hers, that much is decided. Though now she needed to find the means to get her hands on the treasure. Only one option would suffice. She needed information and the best place to get it is the biggest rat. The goddess, clad in white and red with a sword perched on her hip, would stride up to Big Black Johnny's ship. Another man would be here, a man named Spade, but Amaterasu would pay him no mind, instead approaching someone and making herself known.

Tell your captain that the goddess Amaterasu requests an audience with him.

It was clear she wasn't particularly worried about anyone present. She wanted to speak right to the source, and would not grovel at anyone's feet to do so. Big Black Johnny would see her, one way or another.

Spade and Amaterasu had both made their way to the arms dealer's ship. Both sought information, and both were led by their greed. The arms dealer's ship was a large one, and it definitely stood out from the others with the barge. The ship was either gold painted or gold plated, regardless it had a sheen that attracted others to it. A large black flag blew atop the mass and on it was the Jolly Roger of the BBJC. The ship was "docked" against a trail of floating planks that lead to it. This was the only path on or off the ship, besides being thrown overboard at least.

Spade and Amaterasu would notice one thing for certain once they boarded the ship; all of the crew members were dark skinned. Whether male or female, they each had mahogany skin or a similar shade. Each crew member either wore black and gold or black and red. To say they were organized was an understatement. Spade was the first to approach a male on the ship, inquiring information.
Amaterasu, however, demanded to see Big Black Johnny personally. The man eyed both of them and turned his head, yelling back toward the cabins.

    "Ayyo!!! We got customers!!!"

Not long after this declaration, a woman made her way out of the cabin. Her entire left side was converted in body art, both in the form of tattoos and piercings. A tight fitting red bodysuit covered her, though it was riddled with ashes falling from her cigar. The woman would make her way toward Spade and Amaterasu, eyeing the both of them while gritting her teeth.

"Look, they calls me Sweet Sista. Don't get it twisted, I ain't sweet, and I'm sure as f**k ain't ya sista. You come here looking for Johnny, then you Betta come correct. Johnny don't see nuthin till I give him the heads up. I don't give the heads up till I see one of three things: Some deals, Some dimes, or Some dough. If you ain't got none, then you can get to steppin."

Sweet sista was brash and brief, her words coming from a gritted smirk, as to not drop her cigar. It was simple enough to understand despite all of the slang. Spade or Amaterasu would have to come up with something to offer Johnny in exchange for the info they wanted. Whether it be a trade, a woman, or Beri; the pair would need to bring something to the table if they planned on dining with the big dog.
