    Last Inn - Four Paths

    [Sensui | Cage | Amaterasu | Ironbeard]

The team had brought the keep to its knees, with enemies in the rubble by the many. There were two prominent calls to the team, the flickering embers at the back and the stairs leading to the darkness. Cage had taken charge, following the stairs to their end. Pya and Rusti followed, with Dani casket in hand. Sensui followed, feeling the sting of the spikes on his tentacles. From the wounds oozed a green liquid, collected by the suction-cups on the tentacles. Rusti was not one to pull her response, and denied Sensui's assistance. Dani was still wounded and 'bleeding' out still. Sensui stood to think for a second, before following the group - Rusti and Pya would have his help either way. After all, she held Dani.

"H-h-h-hey! SHUT YOUR BEAKS!"- Sensui hollered at the voices, comically mistaking mouths for beaks

In the darkness, voices whispered. The merman quivered for a moment, before he found newfound will. Before, the voices of the forum scared the Commander. Now, finding purpose in the mission, his will overpowered the fear. To save Dani, to ensure Joy would not fall into the wrong hands, and to the death of Morti. All kept Sensui going forward, into the bunker's expansive room. Pillars of light showed the vast room. Chains and other interesting things were avast. One in particular. At the end, a chest was held in chains, glowing with what seemed to be a spirit of its own. Was this the source of Joy? The merman's eyes looked past the chest, to the armored man and the white-skinned woman behind the chest. If they had power levels, Sensui would try to place them. It wasn't long before the woman greeted them with words.

Familiar tone. Sensui suddenly stopped jogging towards them. He turned to the woman, and looked at Rusti from behind. This was the woman that had spoken to him. Could the other be the Dogmatist? The merman's mind began to race, before he followed the group. If he played it correctly, he could use the two to slay Rusti and save Dani from their clutches. For now, he had to play the part. Sensui took note of the pillars supporting the bunker, thanks to Cage. Outnumbered, Cage spoke to the two before engaging.

Sensui placed himself in front of the casket, to protect it from the hostiles. He played the part, and got into a battle stance - Shaolin Style. Instead of speaking, he began to think loudly, metaphorically. The white-sinned woman was already in his mind, perhaps she could hear.

What happened to Admiral Koko is a crux that the world cannot bear.
To defeat Morti and protect Joy, ye' have me at your call.
B-b-but, my beloved! I need help in saving my beloved. In the casket, bleeding is she.

Questioning seemed, well, out of the question, so it was impossible to fully determine whether the goose was the culprit, and if he was, whether he was now willing to stop. The only way to fully ascertain those things was to kill the goose, and then see if the destruction stops. With that said, the masked woman opened the palms of both of her hands and aimed them down toward the goose. A gate opened on the palm of each of her hands and at the gates stood two miniature people, one for each gate, manning two miniature cannons, one for each gate.

    ''Fire repeatedly.''

The masked woman said, and the two men nodded. They fired their respective cannons, reloaded, fired again, reloaded again, and fired again, persistently and unstoppingly until further notice. The masked woman wanted the goose dead. But for now, it was time to see if the goose could tank cannonballs as good as it could Rankyakus.

The Goose spouted further insanity in response to her questions. The praetor then felt something snap within her. Her respectful demeanor? Gone. She turned to see the other woman firing what seemed like cannon blasts from the palm of her hand. They were aimed at the Goose, but she was in close proximity to it, and so she took defensive action. With a quick Kamisori, she shoots up into the sky, and observes how the Goose deals with the cannons. Her brow was twitching fiercely, and her expression was one of great annoyance. There was no hiding how she felt now.

YOU LICKED ME. YOU ****ING LICKED ME AND THEN YOU SPOUT NONSENSE WHEN I ASK YOU A QUESTION. I. AM. SO. DONE.

As she was suspending herself in midair with repeated Geppou's, she would attack from a range. This time, instead of a Rankyaku, she would use one of her Shigan variants. She readies her spear, and thrusts it forward with ferocity. A compressed blast of air is launched that is not only hard to see, but would back quite a punch upon impact. Threatening the Goose with multiple cuts in addition to the initial impact of the blast of air hitting it. She was limited while fighting at a distance, but she wanted to learn more about her target before engaging it in CQC.

    Special Event
    Nora, Hera

Patience quickly faded away into rage as both girls grew fed up with the Goose's insane ramblings and tangents. Both would react with attacks meant to defeat the goose. Hera shot cannonballs and Nora launched a blast of air at him. Both attacks would find they hit their marks in an explosion of flame and smoke. The smoke would eventually clear and the Goose would be standing there in its monster point form. Covered in black soot and bleeding from its chest, it would begin to cry loudly. Tears were streaming down its face.

"You like Annabelle more than me, don't you?! It's the boobs, isn't it?! Baka Onii-Chan!"

The Goose would turn away from the duo and take flight into the air. It would begin to fly away from them, streams of tears following behind him. They could chase it down if they wanted to. They could continue to assault a mentally ill person who did nothing to hurt them. Or they could return to Tylor and receive their rewards.

Embers of flaming creatures would extinguish as they were destroyed. Ironbeard would punch through the sphere, knocking it to the ground with a poof of flame and sparks as the air from inside it burst. No explosion, per say, but it was a necessary effect as it essentially died away. Ama followed with a slew of sword jabs, piercing the spheres as they approached. Their bodies would fly past Ama, their flames withering as their husks crashed to the floor.

Noticing the approaching platoons, Ama would be the first to react. After all, she was the only one who paid attention. Morti, still in a daze, was starting to turn her ears back on. The act itself would eventually lead her to look at Ama who burst to the skies as a avalanche began to fall. Dead eyes widened, if they could, as Morti would move to the basement, slamming her body to the wall. A weird occurence of the wall leaking as it was juiced happened. Pete, in the stairwell, was pretty safe. Roof above him was mostly mountain.

The stone and snow would fall, rocks and debris aiming for the advancing men and women. Their skills were put to the test, Ama could see, as hooks went flying in all directions. Emergency actions were being enacted, the band of soldiers moving out of harms way. Several would use their swinging lines to land around and out of the avalanche's area of effect, moving away from the fortress as they each began to arm their guns.

The BROOD took a different approach, slamming their fists into the mountain as their shoulders bulged and blackened. Rocks and snow would bounce off their plating, themselves using the mountain to hold them. Of the five BROOD, only one was swept under the rocks and snow, to be entombed below. Something in all the mess would hit it, the body giving off more a thud of meat and metal than stone and steel. Perhaps a mammoth was taken from the top of the mountain.

Atop the largest BROOD, the woman who rode it would become encased in a massive sphere of expanding, exploding fire. Any stone that aimed for her would be blown violently away, leaving a patch underneath that Brood devoid of avalanche debris. That BROOD, and the three others, would land, amidst massive piles of snow and rock that now blanketed the front of the fort and the empty field before it.

Hair alive with red and fire would move around in the otherwise darkness of the night. Snow melted as it tried to touch her, steam coming from her black clothes. A golden eye unhidden by long hair would gaze hatred at Amaretsu in the sky, the eye of disgust. Atop the massive BRood, she wore no real leggings, soft small black shoes, and held an umbrella firmly stabbed into the head of the BROOD. It seemed to do no harm, but it was annoying the poor robotic construct.

"An attack against us; how unwise. The Lady Ward will not suffer a heathen!"

"OUR FAIR LADY CTHUGA!" THe BROOD and soldiers yelled, their voices coming from many angles.

"Go. Now that they have attacked us, we can no longer play with the idea of peace. Destroy these drug peddlers and saddists!"

"OUR GREAT LADY CTHUGA!" The choir roared again, their bodies in motion.

Ama would find lights from below her. The recovered soldiers fired upon her in unison, bullets soaring through the night air with whiz and whirl. None had seastone or haki, so their effects would be nothing dangerous. Annoying, certainly, though it was the first of many attacks.

A slew of enemies greeted the four. Many souls to bring trouble to their doors and harm to their bodies. Black, glinting, dim of light, and none too full of fear in seeing iether Sensui or Cage. Sensibility struck Cage like thunder to his ears, and he would not attack. Words were to be used first, avoiding conflict as best as he could before it all hit the fan.

Cage asked a serious inquiry, hoping to be answered. Nothing too drastic, either. A quick reply would come, from the man who didn't look up from his work before shuffling papers together. The suffling lead to a neat stack, which he began to transfer into a container, a leather satchel given its binds. This action caused Pya, the ever quite six armed TV robot, to skip ahead like a child. Fast to avoid grabbing hands to stop 'her,' she was allowed half way through the room before the Dogmatist rose.

"The occasion... is a simple trade. Professor Yama, I presume?"

Cage was answered, and the TV head responded. This Pya was, in fact, the named woman Professor Yama. P.Ya was but a shorten hand it used. Sensui didn't know who Professor Yama was, but Irra and Tylor did. Shame neither were here, for Yama was the main focus of this meeting. The TV head bobbed in a nod, black armored men moving to surround her.

Light relfected off the Dogmatist properly now, and his regal coat blocked much of the robotic shine under it. Metal glints were bright as ever, matching his mask to its components. Metal, perhaps, or something else. Regardless, the purple slit of his eye would stay on the group, as a tail revealed itself from his backside. Long, scaled, serpent-like, it was truly off putting.

"I'd hope to meet under less stressful circumstances, or that you would send Razzo... not use my... heh."

Perhaps Sensui would know Razzo's name, though it was not likely. After all, the one who met that wonderful sadist was Irra. A suplier of Joy and drugs, Razzo was quite the dealer. Yama was one of the many in cahoots with Razzo and Odnar. Cage could only scratch his head at these facts, given he wasn't there at Koko's death.

Sensui stood before the coffin of Dani, the ever living incubator of life named Rusti. Rusti was baffled by the sudden motion, placing the cannon in her arm downward to avoid potentially harming Sensui. That, or the proximity was dangerous as it was explosive. Thoughts trickled from Sensui.

"Documents detailing Mi-Go spawning in the northern seas, amid some personal findings on their anatomy.... for several types of drugs. I don't take them, but the Drukhari do."

The Dogmatist would slap the satchel, freshly filled with papers. Reports that were useless to anyone and everyone short of Yama. Yama had wanted them, apparently, and she would reach into her blouse. From it, she withdrew a raid capsule, popping the button to reveal a large sack. A dull blue glow came from the sake and its opened weaves, Sensui able to see the very same pill Koko popped long, long ago. Her screen would show a blue pill and a smiling face, in a jittery pixelated emoji form. Flashes of a flower would move between the pill and the emoji happy face, thought to what purpose.

Sensui's thoughts would continue to race, loud. A good attempt, if there were a telepath here. There wasn't. The words from long, long before, the whispers, were quite literally into his ears. He didn't know that, though. Thoughts as he had, he'd try and try to no avail. The woman, the Banshee, was oblivious, only left to smirk as she waited a command.

"Oye! Hehaha! That's the tingle stuff! I can fe'el a resonance." The banshee's voice echoes, drawing the crowds around the hall to attention.

The cannonballs rained down on the insane goose, consuming it with violent explosions. By the time the combined attack was done and the obscurity had cleared, the insane goose was left in its monster form. The monster goose was bleeding, but still more than alive, and as lively as ever, spouting shenanigans. The monster goose took flight toward the horizon with trails of tears in its wake. The masked woman looked at the monster goose fly away, shaking her head.

    ''Tsch...
This is the job that needed taking care of?
Well, I guess an insane goose with as much strength as that one could prove to be dangerous if left alone.
    ''

The masked woman said, turning toward Nora.

    ''I'm going back.''

The masked woman said, disappearing with Kamisori. She made her way back to the tent where Tylor was. If uninterrupted in her return, and if Tylor was still there, the masked woman would explain the situation and proceed to attempt of claim her reward.

Tylor's Something To Do [Nora Rose] (@p20, Jack, Kaka)

Her air shooting Yarigan along with some cannonballs from the other woman would hit their mark. After the dust cleared, the Goose would be in its monster form, bleeding and blackened by soot, rather than haki. Shortly after, the goose would begin to cry as he flew away, spouting some additional nonsense about liking someone better because of her boobs. She let out a chuckle, but her mood would not be entirely cheery. The goose they were seemingly tasked with fighting didn't seem bad, just confused and eccentric. Unfortunately, civilians who encounter him would be at risk, and so he was a threat worth taking care of.

Well, I am more of a boob gal after all!

She would shout to the goose as he flew away. Whether she was just playing along one last time or not wouldn't be confirmed. However, what was confirmed was that the "animal" problem was solved. She too, would make haste in returning to Tylor. She had a new spear she wished to claim. Like the mysterious woman, she would utilize Kamisori to quickly return to town, and to Tylor's shop. Once there, she would wait for the other woman to finish her report, confirm it, and then wait patiently for Tylor to either ask what item they wanted, or to tell them their assignment wasn't yet completed.

    Bo

Time and cold. That was all Bo could think and ponder on. The time it was for her to leave her only real companion, and the damnable cold of the top mountain peak. Chilled veins that boiled hot with demon blood caused Bo to sniffle, but her mission took priority. She had to find Morti.

The cold snow would hide many things. A strange and bewildering trio of girls passed Bo, who gave her a wave and warm greeting. Confusion took Bo, on account of the cold and how could they be so casual in it? Such confusion.

More trudging, more walking, and Bo found a cadre. They did not, or cared not, notice the ogre as they planned their operations. The snow and settling numbness of the night air was too much for Bo, refusing her the sounds of this cadre's plans. The only thing she heard was a name. Morti.

Moving towards the group, mostly of armed soldiers and a few larger Pacifsta, Bo would stop, watching this cafre descend down the mountain. Patience, she thought, for this group was dangerous. A quake went through the mountain's edge, which happened to be where everyone was; cadre descending, Bo, and the group that lay in wait far, far, far below. The rocks and snow shuffled and began to plummet, taking all with.

Bo was falling fast, her weight more than enough to propel her down like a meteor. Falling and falling, Bo would not slow. Hands were numb, unable to feel cliff. Feet senseless, unable to kick the air and break it to pieces. What Bo did hit to slow her fall was hard, metal, and now panicking with anger. A BROOD, a name Bo didn't know, slowed her fall. Both collapsed to the ground, the BROOD unable to handle the ogre, as rock and snow covered them.

    HULK Acquisition

*Maki, late in her delivery. Yet, still ever the woman of poison and technology she eagerly handed over the cup, filled to the brim with what would equate to several vials of a highly paralytic toxin. What Taylor intended to use the poison for was truly of no concern to her. In his possession, Taylor would now be the owner of a full cup of paralytic toxin, an amount equally no less than 4-5 vials, a drop in the pond to her. Maki would now wait for the supplies needed to get to work on her HULK exo skeleton, sealing the deal and finalizing the transaction between the two.*

    Four Paths - Top Floor

The Goddess known as Amaterasu would be the one to notice the platoon coming down the mountain toward the keep. It was unclear whether or not this group is friendly or hostile. Amaterasu assumed it to be the latter. In this assumption she would unleash her power upon the mountain in order to cause an avalanche to sweep away these new foes. Pete and Morti would slip away into the stairwell as snow and rock came thundering down the mountain. Amaterasu on the other hand took to the skies in order to both aavoid the avalanche, and to get a birds eye view of those she sought to destroy.

To her surprise the platoon was skilled and efficient in dealing with this new trial. The soldiers used hooks and line to try and get out of the path of the avalanche. The BROOD on the other hand would bunker down and seek to weather the worst of it. Atop the largest BROOD would be a lady who would catch the goddess' eye. She was different from the rest. She could tell this woman had an air of superiority. Amaterasu would make her bow.

Soon enough this platoon was out of harms way and ready to counter attack the goddess. Volleys of bullets would fly at Amaterasu. They lacked Haki and Seastone, but she'd rather not chance it. She would move quickly to her right, hoping to move out of the way of the bullets. As she moved, Amaterasu would build up light in her palms. After a second or two she would put her hands together and unleash it upon those down below. The large beam would sweep across the land, leaving a bright glowing trail in its wake. This trail would only remain for a moment before it would explode violently. The path of this beam aimed to catch as many enemies as possible in one swipe.

    Four Paths
    Morti, Ammy, Ironbeard

Partially inside the stairwell, Pete started to make his way down when Ammy gave a warning in light. After a blast of light, Pete saw that an avalanche was coming down the mountain, and fast. Pete took immediate shelter in the stair well, the roof of the ceiling was made mostly of mountain rock. Morti took her shelter as she moved to the basement, slamming herself against the wall. A detail that Pete managed to notice was that the wall seemingly leaked when Morti hit it, like a juice being squeezed from a fruit. Strange.

When the avalanche was done, Pete moved back up as he pulled the wax out of his ears. He would push through the snow to see what all had happened, and to see if Ammy was alright. What he found now was the army that Ammy had tried to take out with the avalanche. The four BROOD stood, one of them carrying a girl with fiery hair on her back. They cried in unison "Our Lady Cthuga" to the orders of the girl, orders that were to exterminate. The footsoldiers had readied their guns and took aim at Ammy, firing freely at the sun goddess.

    "I don' think so."

Using his optics, Pete scanned the army and their weapons for metal that he could control. What metal was there, including ammunition, he would look to control with his magnet powers. With a beckoning hand gesture, Pete ordered the metal in the footsoldiers' guns, weapons, accessories and everything that was ferrous to fly from their hands and to his right hand that he held outstretched. He collected all the metallic items and scrunched them together into a ball hovering in front of his palm.

"I dunno who this 'Cthuga' is, but she sounds dreadful."

Pete shifted his arm so that he was aiming the ball of metal weapons and accessories at one of the three smaller BROOD pacifistas. Electricity visibly sparked from his hand and the ball mass of weapons, and Pete launched it at the brute. Having given it a polarity, Pete made it so that the mass of metal would attract and it the BROOD and crash it into the rock of the mountain.
